The 2025 Linyaps application migration activity: tasks, rules and submission record

In order to further enrich the Linyaps application ecosystem and improve desktop application compatibility and user experience, the first phase of the 2025 "Linyaps Application Migration and Development Contest" is now launched to solicit Linyaps format applications from developers. This event covers the adaptation needs of different types of applications through batch conversion and targeted research. We sincerely invite developers to participate and jointly promote the construction of Linyaps ecosystem.

[Task Requirements]

Linyaps environment is at least larger than Version 1.9.x , application construction can be carried out under any distribution version that Linyaps has adapted. It is recommended to use deepin 25

Task 1: Focus on application-oriented manual compilation and adaptation

【 Mission Scope 】For the official release 🍥 Specify application manifest , manually compile and build the adaptation and put it on the shelf

【 Incentive mechanism ] Manually compiled and successfully launched a single application, including ⏩ x86 architecture reward 45 yuan (before tax) ，⏩  Including multi-architecture additional reward of 20 yuan (before tax)

[How to participate]

1. Developers can "Task List" View task applications to be claimed and synchronize activity operations within the community
2. Each application is limited to one developer to claim. It will be packaged according to the specified package name within 7 days after claiming, and the application will be deeply compatible and adapted to ensure the normal operation of the core functions.
3. Passed Developer Platform Submit by yourself, and the final listing result will be used to determine whether the "adaptation is successful" (offline delivery packages are not accepted)
4. After being put on the shelves, the configuration yaml file of the corresponding application must be delivered to the event operator simultaneously.
5. Failed or abandoned tasks must be synchronized with activity operations, and the reasons for failure must be informed simultaneously

[Special instructions]

1. Use the yaml file to prove whether it is "manually compiled". If it is verified that it is a package exported by the automated build of a third-party tool, it will be distributed according to the incentive standards for automated builds in Task 1-2.
2. If there is no abnormal usage feedback within 30 days after being put on the shelf, it will be counted. If it is removed from the shelf due to various abnormal usage, it will not be counted in the number of rewards.
3. After submission, you will automatically become the owner of the submitted application. If you no longer plan to update and maintain it in the future, you can transfer it to the official Linyaps community for continued maintenance.
4. If you encounter bugs or missing function points in Linyaps, we hope you can give feedback to the Linyaps R&D team or event coordinator to help us improve.

Task 2: Linyaps application batch automated build tasks

【 Mission Scope 】Efficiently complete batch automated build and migration tasks for designated Linyaps applications through various batch conversion tools. Mainly including types: appimage package, flatpak package, application with deb but no Linyaps package, wine application

【 Incentive mechanism 】Settlement based on the actual number of successfully launched applications, ⏩ Single application (x86 architecture only) reward 15 yuan (before tax) 。

【 How to participate 】Due to the special nature of batch tasks, you need to privately chat with the event operator to sign up for participation, and then you can claim the task after confirmation.

1. Operate 1V1 and release conversion task packages (100 or 200 applications per batch) to successfully registered participants. Developers can receive 1 task package each time
2. Use batch conversion tools (ll-pica, etc.) to complete the conversion and export of layer format applications
3. Use automated testing tools to test, export test results, and prepare materials for release
4. Passed Developer Platform Submit by yourself (use your own developer account), and judge whether "adaptation is successful" based on the listing results.

[Special instructions]

1. If the conversion fails, provide a failure list and note the batch and failure reasons.
2. If the task is not submitted within 7 natural days after receiving the task, the current task will be released to other participants
3. In order to ensure the quality of submissions, tools need to be used for local testing. If you upload directly to the backend without testing, you may be disqualified from participating.

Task 3 - Tool tutorial document co-construction activity

【 Solicitation Type 】Originals only. No limit on content, no limit on direction. You only need to adapt the Linyaps application to something relevant and valuable for learning reference.

1. Construction and packaging tutorial: such as writing configuration files for source code compilation of different types of applications (permission settings, path mapping specifications, etc.), parameter optimization and batch processing of the ll-pica tool in format conversion, compatible configuration and process simplification of multi-architecture packaging, etc.
2. Testing and optimization: such as functional verification after source code compilation (interface rendering, module linkage), compatibility testing of format conversion (system theme adaptation, interactive verification), error handling during compilation, performance optimization solutions, etc.

【 Submission incentives ] It will be reviewed by the Linyaps technical expert team within 10 working days to confirm the accuracy of the content;

1. The content is logically clear, covering the key points of the entire process of a certain type of packaging method, and the techniques are practical and reproducible.
2. Include the signature in the official technical document library, and Reward 100 yuan/article (before tax) (The maximum reward for valid tutorial series on the same theme is 500 yuan)

1. The single packaging technique is explained accurately and has practical reference value
2. Include the signature on the official community website and Reward 50 yuan/article (before tax)

[Submission form]

• Document format: The content must clearly present the adaptation method, key steps and precautions (screenshots can be attached), and there is no fixed structure;
• Video format: ≥1080P image quality, 5-15 minutes in length, including voice-over explanation (key explanations of key steps) and subtitles, and a text version of the core steps can be attached.

[Submission method]

• in "deepin Forum – Linyaps Section" Post a post, prefix the title with [Linyaps Adaptation Tutorial], and attach the document content or video link to the text.

[Special instructions]

1. All document content will be checked for plagiarism by AI. If the AI rate of the main content is too high, it will not be recognized as a valid submission.
2. If different developers choose the same topic, rewards will be given to the manuscript with higher quality. If the quality is similar, the priority contributor will be selected.
3. Technical documents of each type or subdivision can only be rewarded once.
