Background

Recently, we have received reports from deepin 23 users from different channels that the performance of the system file manager or other system components has dropped significantly. After combining the reference solutions from enthusiastic users in the deepin open source community, deepin’s internal R&D team has carried out relevant positioning and solution evaluation for this problem.

Question

Some Linyaps applications installed through the app store will write a low version of the gsetting-desktop-schemas configuration file to the system Linyaps directory (/var/lib/linglong/entries/share), causing the host's gvfs-udisks2-volume-monitor.service to fail to start, causing some components of the desktop to respond slowly.

Solution

Add the repair plan for deepin 23 internal test channel

Upgrade the version of Linyaps to 1.6.1. After the upgrade is completed, you can execute it in the terminal ll-cli --version , the return result is 1.6.1 This means that the Linyaps component has been successfully upgraded and the problem can be fixed by restarting the system.
* This fix is expected to be pushed with the internal test this week. Please upgrade the system after receiving the internal test push.

The repair plan for deepin 23 internal test channel is not included

Considering that some users are not willing to join the deepin 23 internal test channel, you need to refer to the following operations for manual repair:

  1. Delete under root privileges /var/lib/linglong/entries/share/glib-2.0 Table of contents
  2. Use this command to restart related services after deleting the directory systemctl --user restart gvfs-udisks2-volume-monitor.service
  3. If it cannot be repaired after restarting the service, please save the file and restart the system.
